At Café Maharani, fresh ingredients are the key for our longest running Indian restaurant. After 20 years in Honolulu, Café Maharani reinvents itself with new menu items, vibrant décor and the best Indian cuisine available in the city.
People in Honolulu know Café Maharani because of its long-rooted history here. We opened in 2000 on South King Street, near the University of Hawaii, introducing authentic Indian cuisine to the islands. Café Maharani was established by a team of family members. Our business is built upon our mother’s recipes and the highest quality of Indian and fresh local ingredients.
Café Maharani offers a casual party-like atmosphere and setting. Each day, our chefs use the freshest ingredients; varieties of combination platter and ala carte menus featuring a plethora of regional fare and staple favorites, offering a consistency in freshness not found elsewhere.
